IBM x3850 X6 Server Overview

The Lenovo System x3850 X6 is a four-socket 4U rack-mounted server, based on the sixth generation of Enterprise X-Architecture technology with Intel® Xeon® processors E7-4800/8800 v4 series, can produce up to 26 percent faster compute performance than the last -generation of X6 systems with last generation processors.

The X6 portfolio offers large application virtualization and decreases infrastructure costs and complexity. PCIe flash storage adapters or NVMe PCIe SSDs reduce the need for investment in expensive SAN/NAS storage. Support for up to two graphics processing units (GPUs) and co-processors to maximize computing power. Highly efficient 900 W AC and 1400 W AC power supplies with 80 PLUS Platinum certification helps to lower operational costs.

Configuration tips: Has flexible and scalable drive bay support for up to 16x 1.8-inch SSD bays, or up to eight 2.5-inch bays, all-in-one platform to meet the increasing demands of the business.
