Memory
The R750 supports upto 32DIMMs, with maximum capacity around 12TB per system for 8x512GB Intel Optane Persistent Memory 200 Series and 8x256GB LR DIMM connected toper CPU and speeds of upto 3200MT/s.
The R750 supports registered (RDIMMs) and load reduced DIMMs (LRDIMMs) which use a buffer to reduce memory loading and provide greater density, allowing for the maximum platform memory capacity. Unbuffered DIMMs (UDIMMs) are not supported.

Storage controllers
Dell’s RAID controller options offer performance improvements, including the fPERC solution. fPERC provides a base RAID HW controller without consuming a PCIe slot by using as mall formfactor and high-density connector to the base planar.
15GPERC Controller offerings will be a heavy leverage of 14GPERC family. The Value and Value Performance levels will carry over to 15G from 14G. Newto 15G, is the Harpoon-based Premium Performance tier offering. This high-end offering will drive IOPs performance and enhanced SSD performance.
